Seasonal Report
A crisp winter day.
January 22, 2012
Well that was the longest fall I can remember. It stretched all the way into January! Great weather is great for the residential real estate industry. No trudging through snow. The ability to walk around the exterior during showings & home inspections. All good!
Speaking of more good news, have you seen this news regarding the Boston area?
Real Estate as we all know is quite locally driven. I'm a big believer in York. Not only is it one of the oldest incorporated towns in the United States, with rich history and unique charm, but it's also a refreshingly friendly town with so many who grew up here staying in town, and those like my husband, and many of his childhood friends who vacationed here, and who have returned to make it their home. I can't tell you how many times, I hear people say "You are so lucky to live here".
With the help of a warm weather pattern, I anticipate yet another year of promise here in York. The spring activity is quickly building momentum as people's mindsets move out of holiday planning and towards vacation planning, retirement planning, upgrading, and downsizing.
Interested in a home to rent this coming spring, summer or fall? Look no further!
Enjoy, Cindy
